Firstly, I want to say a BIG thank you for coming along this journey with me.
Here's boomerang story of me so you know where I'm coming from.
In 2004, I was diagnosed with Graves Disease, where my thyroid was over-active, (a rarity), which resulted in my losing my hair, nails and a bunch of weight. But I also was sweaty all the time, had an incredibly high heart rate to the point where I was moments away from a heart attack. That lead me down a path of various doctors, medications and a hormone rollercoaster for about ten years.
In my mid-thirties, I knew something was up. I couldn't lose any weight, was still gaining muscle, but I was bloated all the time! I searched Google for answers, as one does and I came up with an answer: GO BACK TO SCHOOL! So after a week's vacation, I was registered for nutrition school at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition where I learned SO much and I am constantly learning new things.
Which leads to the present, where I am experimenting and discovering new and amazing ways to tweak YOUR life to make it more balanced, energized and AMAZING!
So what am I getting out of this? Your support of reading and commenting on things you want to know encourages my momentum to make the snowball bigger! And I'm truly excited about that!
