4 Things I learned from my Intuitive Coach

Updated: Nov 11, 2019

Four months ago I started seeing an intuitive coach, (has it really been 4 months?!!!) It may sound hippy-dippy and it started out that way but I got a lot more out of it then I bargained for.

I found her on Facebook, in a group when I answered her post about being “stuck” in my business. Being an entrepreneur is hard work. It’s not just about a “side hustle” it’s about eating, breathing and sleeping your job. Sure, you may love it - it was what you were born to do; but sometimes, somedays are SUPER challenging and you don’t know where to turn except your bed to hide under the blankets. This is where I was. At a fork in the road where I wasn’t sure about what to do next. Do I toss it altogether and apply for a new job, continue on my current path or go for my dreams? I decided to invest in myself and not the business to find out what my inner fire was actually saying.

Here’s what I learned:

I am the Universe

My consciousness holds the power to the universe and it is abundant.

See, the universe is made up of energy and each person has the power to manifest things when vibrations are high; that is you are evoking the emotions of positivity, happiness, thoughtfulness, gratitude, joy, enthusiasm and passion. There’s a law of attraction and like attracts like, so If you CHOOSE to vibrate at a higher level, nothing but good things can come your way.

Here’s how it worked out for me:

  • I manifested a parking space and a coffee, (easy)

  • I have let go of the things i “need” and opened up space to things that will serve me

  • I’m manifesting a new job, that I WANT, that I am PASSIONATE about and that I DESERVE!

You know those times when you actually contact someone because you want to touch base and they respond by, “I thought about you the other day!”

Money ebbs and flows and there will always be more

Sure, we need money to survive - pay bills, rent, car, for nourishment and entertainment = LIFE! The amount of times I have witnessed people talk about how they “don’t have enough” or “need more” was deafening.

I assure you, I have been in debt. A whole lot of debt….$40K worth of debt. My wages were garnished to pay off my taxes when I had two jobs because I needed more money, rent cheques bouncing and other things I have forgiven myself for. I have been working on my relationship with money for the past ten years and it’s finally in a good place.

I’m making half the amount that I made last year, yet life seems simpler, freeing and better now! My life is fuller than it used to be so I avoid purchasing things to fill gaps in my life.

Where money comes from, there is always more. It comes and it goes. You get paid, then you pay rent. The fuller your life is, the less filled your wallet needs to be.

Growth begins with trust and forgiveness

These are touchy subjects and VERY personal. All I can say is that you need to forgive those in your life who are still holding you back. Any negative emotion you have to someone needs to be forgiven so you can let it go and move on. Many times this stems from parents or family expectations. It’s a protective mechanism you use on yourself, but it doesn’t have to be.

After you forgive, you need to trust again. Trust you won’t get hurt. Trust you can walk with your head high. Trust in the Universe, it will deliver.

I have a masculine and feminine side, I need them both for survival

For years, I have let my masculine side take over. The lists, calendars, structure, routines and high achieving results have been my driver for success and contentment. But there’s more to life than that. There’s the softer feminine side that is creative, playful, unrestricted and fun. It is that side which I now revel in and want to play in all. of. the. time. But alas, I have to work. So I am finding a balance between my masculine and feminine side. I’m making sure I get to the gym but also go to the spa. I made my calendars in a bright colour coded schematic. I have my lists, but are marked with stickers and colours to make it fun. I get outside in the forest, even in the rain. I take care of myself. I love myself.

Have you ever felt “stuck”? You’re not alone. Ping me. Let’s talk.

Until the next time,

Eat well. Work hard. Seize wellness.
