This summer has been HOT! And I have been looking for a healthy snack that wasn't frozen or some sort of pudding. I had some overripe bananas but wanted chocolate...so I came up with this beauty of a loaf!
I put it in the fridge and it has a perfect fudginess when being devoured!
Here's what you'll need:
1 cup of flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder, (I used black cocoa)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 medium over ripe bananas, mashed
1/4 cup of butter, melted
1/4 cup of avocado oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F
Combine the dry ingredients
Combine the wet ingredients
Add the dry to the wet and stir to combine
Fold in 3/4 of the chocolate chips
Pour into parchment-lined loaf pan
Top with remaining chocolate chips
Bake in oven for 1 hour, or until toothpick comes out clean
Cool for 10 minutes and enjoy!
