Best Chocolately Banana Loaf

This summer has been HOT! And I have been looking for a healthy snack that wasn't frozen or some sort of pudding. I had some overripe bananas but wanted I came up with this beauty of a loaf!

I put it in the fridge and it has a perfect fudginess when being devoured!

Here's what you'll need:

The dry:

  • 1 cup of flour

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder, (I used black cocoa)

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp salt

The wet:

  • 3 medium over ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup of avocado oil

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 350F

  2. Combine the dry ingredients

  3. Combine the wet ingredients

  4. Add the dry to the wet and stir to combine

  5. Fold in 3/4 of the chocolate chips

  6. Pour into parchment-lined loaf pan

  7. Top with remaining chocolate chips

  8. Bake in oven for 1 hour, or until toothpick comes out clean

  9. Cool for 10 minutes and enjoy!
